Why we chose it
Wallace & Sewell are the only British design studio in this guide using explicitly non-mulesed merino — wool sourced without mulesing is the animal-welfare standard most wool certifications don't specify by name. The yarn is spun and dyed in Yorkshire, woven in a century-old Lancashire mill. The waffle structure is geometric and three-dimensional rather than a surface print.
